Ellenbrook residents will be relieved to hear that Hertfordshire County Council's Development Control Committee has rejected the plans for the mineral extraction quarry in Ellenbrook fields.
This is in part thanks to Hatfield Villages Conservatives' many months of hard work combatting the plans and making residents' views heard at HCC.
The committee rejected the plan by a margin of 5 to 4.
Councillors Duncan Bell, Drew Richardson and Samuel Kasumu deserve huge credit for standing up for local Ellenbrook people and making a real difference to the community đź‘Ź
