As another successful WelHats campaign draws to a close, we are delighted to announce that we have received well over 2000 knitted items from the residents of Welwyn Hatfield!
Your efforts will make a real difference in Syria this winter, delivered through outstanding International aid group 'Hand in Hand with Syria.' The amount of time spent dedicated to creating these items just goes to show how our community can really pull together for a good cause. We had donations from all across the constituency and even from our neighbouring constituencies, all willing to get involved in helping those less fortunate.
We can confirm that the hats will reach Syria in time for this winter, with many lives affected for the better because of the generosity of those in Welwyn Hatfield. So once again Thank you.
