Last Thursday night, our local MP Grant Shapps held his regular Question Time Fish & Chips Supper at Woodhall Community Centre, WGC. It was a big success with around 100 people attending to question Grant whilst enjoying some locally sourced cuisine from the local fish and chip shop. Grant was very open on speaking about both local and national issues. He answered many questions on such subjects as housing and the European Union which seemed to be of great interest to the questioners. He took further questions and provided comment on other issues such as local planning, stamp duty and road safety.
The response was amazing and we thank all who came on Thursday night and helped make the night a success. Grant loves Welwyn Hatfield and is always pleased when he can see that the local community are as passionate about the local and national issues as he is.
