Welwyn Hatfield Conservatives are delighted to announce the presentation of a certificate from David Cameron to Jo Walton from North Mymms, in acknowledgement of her 42 years of public service.
Jo is often known to feed dozens of people single-handedly at one of her many supper club events, and she defies the years with her enthusiasm and energy. She has also been active in many elections over the years and seen councillors, MPs and even Prime Ministers come and go!
If Jo doesn't know someone in the community, then they are not worth knowing, as she has played such an important role dedicating years of service to Welwyn Hatfield and the surrounding areas.
We thank her on behalf of so many, and are pleased that she has been recognised for her service by the Prime Minister. She is not set to retire any time soon, and will welcome help if she hasn't already asked you for it! Especially for the Christmas Market every year held at Hatfield House in support of Isabel Hospice.
