Welwyn Hatfield Conservatives have once again maintained control of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
With former leader Cllr John Dean stepping down, this election marked the beginning of a new era for Welwyn Hatfield Conservatives.
Cllr Mandy Perkins said this morning “I would just like to say that I’m really happy with the councillors we got elected in the council.
“They are diverse in ethnicity, age, and they are energetic, they want to get out and work for the people of Welwyn Hatfield.”
“Whilst I am incredibly disappointed for those candidates that were not successful, we have to be realistic that this is politics, it’s not life and death, and there are good candidates in all parties.”
"I am looking forward to seeing this new Conservative group push forward towards delivering some real achievements in the next year."
