Welhats is back for another year with a launch at Friendship House with our very own Grant Shapps MP
Surrounded by a team of expert knitters, Grant thanked the ladies for their effort over the past year and was shocked when they produced their workings!
With over 500 pieces in our store already, we are again asking local residents with a talent for knitting to donate any items of hand knitted clothes (no second hand due to exporting) into our office at Maynard House, Al10 0NF. These will then be supplied to the 'Hand in hand with Syria' appeal, supporting young children trapped in the horrific war zone.
This really does make a crucial difference and we know that the residents of Welwyn Hatfield will once again pick up their knitting needles and help!
The deadline will be mid-december.
